Wow, I cannot believe it is week 15.  I know I have said it before but it is worth saying again, I am having a blast.  This blog circle is one of the many highlights of my week.  Every  week I feel I get to know each of you a little more.  This week was Sleep: Where do you sleep? Your children sleeping… peaceful moments.   One place  that I have many peaceful moments is my porch swing.  You can catch me there relaxing, reading a book, having a glass of my favorite tea or just swinging.  As always, my little side kick Gracie, loves to swing and relax as well.  I guess if I were honest, I have taken a few naps while sitting in this swing.

Can’t wait to see where her children or  Ginger Unzueta, Camp Lejeune, NC Photographer, http://www.gingerunzuetaphotography.com/blog/ sleeps or have many peaceful moments.

Sacrifice: What does this word mean to you? What in your life best defines it? When I read the theme for this week I knew exactly what I would photograph.   I rode around town to many churches to find my subject and finally, the cross, where Jesus Christ died for my sin.  He bore all my past and future sin so that  I could have eternal life with Him in heaven.    We read in the book of Isaiah , 4Surely he has born our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. 5But he was wounded for our transgressions: he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. 6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.—Isaiah 53:4-6 God sent His only son, Jesus Christ to this earth for you and I.  He died, was buried and ROSE again on the 3rd day and now I serve a RISEN Savior.  The ultimate sacrifice in my eyes for a Father to sacrifice His only son so that I, a sinner could have eternal HOPE.  This past week tornados, 25 in all, touched down in the state of NC.  My hometown, Sanford, was badly hit.  As I visited and help families, people reaching out to help people, that hope and love that Christ gives to us was shining so brightly through people, even their tears.  With all the devastation, in the midst there is a hope and a joy that only God can give to us.   God is good.   I pray everyone will have a glorious Easter with family and friends.

This is just an amazing journey for me.  I look forward to this each week and this week was  Nature: Spring should be in full boom – what is beautiful in your view?! This was a special week for me, maybe my favorite!  I LOVE being outdoors and I especially love spring.  When you take the time to look and see all the things that God has created for us – I stand in AWE.  I spent some time at Duke Garden’s in Durham, NC last week and was able to take these photos.  I hope you enjoy and remember to continue through the circle to see the other extraordinary nature shots!

Look close, What do you see?

God is AWESOME!

This week is Fur: Pets, Fake Fur, etc.  Oh my this was a treat for me.   In case you have not noticed, I love my little four legged “love of my life” Gracie Lou :) .  She is the sweetest Yorkie ever!  Of course I know I am partial,  but all 3 1/2 pounds of her is so lovable.  Our pets bring such joy to my life.  They love me even when I am unlovable!

We were out doing a photo shoot (smile) today which she loves as you can all tell.  We decided we would try some Easter photos as well as kissing cat friend, Itty Bitty and a special belly rub by Josh.  The cat is bigger than Gracie but she loves Itty Bitty and always goes up to give him a kiss when she sees him.  Lexis is not much on being photographed :(   She is 11 years old and has had her time in the spotlight.    I hope you enjoy the fur and purr :)

Happy April Fool’s Day!  :)  Where has the time gone?  I cannot believe that it is April.  I thought last week was tough, but this week took the cake for me.  I walked around and looked and there did not seem to be a creative bone alive in me.  Of course I did not locate my image early in the week and then it started to rain.  I was not going to walk around in the rain and cold so back in my house I went to look for the APRIL Fool’s picture!

This week we were to take a picture that looked like one thing but was actually another.  That does not sound too hard, but I struggled.  I cannot wait to see what everyone has come up with this week.  I know all of you are so creative and will have some great photos!  I finally found this in my workroom, it appears to be an “S” but actually it is a bird hook that you can place on the wall or anywhere you desire and hang things from the “S” hook.  Mine is on the front of a wire mannequin that I have sitting in my room.

Don’t stop now, head over to Lynn, Bugsmom Photography, NJ, http://thebugsmommy.wordpress.com and see her April Fool’s, :)

What is this mystery picture?

Mystery solved!
